Waste Management
Waste can be a greatly misunderstood concept. Here at Foxtree, like everything we do we try to make it simple for you to understand not only if you have waste or not, but also what your waste is.
We do this by working with you to determine what you require. Have a look below at the different aspects of waste and its management that we can help you with.
What we do
Quality Protocols
The use of Quality Protocols is a great way to ensure the sustainable use of waste materials.
Here at Foxtree, we are able to help with the production of your Quality Protocol, audits of suppliers that should be following the protocols or even look at undertaking a gap analysis of what may be making your company just miss the mark.
The use of good quality waste materials to produce a good quality product can really enhance reputation within the industry as well.
Waste Classification and Removal
Foxtree pretty much started on the back of waste and its classification. We are experienced in the classification of soils, construction and industrial wastes.
We even go so far as to advice on the most economic route for recovery / disposal or treatment options based on our network of contacts within the waste haulage, disposal and treatment industry.
Whether you would like us to just classify your waste or if you would like us organise for its removal too, get in touch and we can have a chat.
Soils Testing and Assessment
Soils are in our DNA, some of our bread and butter work is the sampling and analysis of soils for re-use and disposal options.
With our team, we are able to attend site at short notice and provide assessment of the results from the laboratory.
Unable to wait 10 days – 2 weeks for results to come back from the laboratory? We can put you in touch with our sister company Classifi Limited, these folk are able to provide on site rapid analysis that provides results the same day!
Visit ClassifiWaste Brokering
Through our extensive network of contacts, we are able to organise for the removal of wastes from site to suitably permitted facilities. We are registered Waste Brokers with the Environment Agency, Registration Number CBDU409428. Check us out on the Public Register Website if you would like to check.
Site Waste Management Plans
We are firm believers that planning can have a huge impact on sites and their contribution to the sustainable use of materials and reduction in wastes. As part of this Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) can be a great tool in the management of waste produced on site.
We are able to not only help with the production of SWMPs by working with you or your subcontractors (collaboration is key), but also to audit them throughout the progression of the site development.
If you would like any help with your SWMPs, or are not sure where to start with gathering the required information, then please do call us and we can look at how we can help.
Waste Audits – Due Diligence – Duty of Care
We are increasingly seeing a desire of our clients (you) to fully understand what is happening to the waste produced on your sites. Many would say that this is because you are legally required to. Yes you are, but you are also looking at potential cost savings. Think how much you could potentially save if you had been told that your waste was going to landfill, only to end up (legally) in a recovery site…it happens.
We have saved clients £100k’s, sometimes by doing something as simple as checking the destination of where the waste is going on a waste transfer note, we kid you not.
If you would like to see if we can save you or your company money, please do get in touch.
